Inspired by: Neil Armstrong because he was the first man on the moon and he was extremely brave to go onto unknown territory. It was also a huge milestone during the space race. No one thought it was possible 40 years prior. So, I drew armstrong’s famous picture on the moon being project on the tv.

Inspired by: Katherine Johnson inspires me. As a woman of color the way she pursued her dream of reaching something at the time that seemed impossible not just for women but people of color was inspirational. She showed young women and children that if you believe that you can do something, it’s possible. As long as you put in that effort and interest you can do anything you set your mind to. She broke boundaries in gender, race and allowed the human race to break the boundaries of outer space.
